List Of Candy That Starts With J
Jawbreaker
Jawbreaker is a generic name for candy that is round and multi-layered. Each layer is made of a different color and flavor.
It is made in the factory by layering sugar and flavorings around a central core, such as a single grain of sugar or a small candy center. Each layer is applied and allowed to harden, creating a progressively larger and harder candy as more layers are added.
It is called a “jawbreaker” because the candy is extremely hard and challenging to bite into. We are not sure if anyone has actually broken a jaw from eating one but certainly many teeth have suffered. You are best to suck on this type of candy slowly.
Examples of brands that make Jawbreakers include Gobstopper and Jaw Busters.
