Almond Joy

Almond Joy is undoubtedly one of the more recognizable names when it comes to candy bars with almonds. Its made with an interior bottom layer of coconut which is topped with two whole almonds. The interior layers are covered by milk chocolate.

Almond Joy was introduced in 1946 by the Peter Paul Candy Manufacturing in Connecticut. The Hershey Company has owned the brand since 1988. The candy is currently made in Stuarts Draft, Virginia.

Snickers Almond

You likely know that an Original Snickers is made of a nougat interior bottom layer that is topped with peanuts and caramel. All of these components are surrounded by an exterior layer of milk chocolate. A Snickers Almond essentially substitutes the peanuts in the Original for almonds.
