Additional Caffeine Free Sodas
Other than grape soda, the following beverages are also generally caffeine free:
Orange Soda
The majority of orange sodas are caffeine free. However, there are some exceptions. Sunkist, Diet Sunkist, and MTN Dew Live Wire are examples of orange sodas that contain caffeine.
Root Beer
Most root beer beverages do not have caffeine. Again, there are exceptions. Barq’s is an example of a root beer that does have caffeine. However, popular brands like A&W, Mug, and Hires are caffeine free.
Lemon-Lime
Clear sodas such as lemon-lime are commonly caffeine free. This includes brands like Sprite, 7Up, and Sierra Mist. MTN Dew Ice, however, is an example of a clear soda with caffeine (54mg per 12 fl oz).
Other Fruit-Flavored Sodas
Soda flavors such as strawberry, pineapple, and grapefruit also are typically free of caffeine.
