Do They Still Make Taco Flavored Doritos?

Yes, they still make Taco Flavored Doritos. However, during 2020 when the pandemic was releasing its havoc, Frito-Lay, the manufacturer, briefly discontinued the chips. Thankfully, they are now back in production.

Frito-Lay confirmed via Twitter in November 2021 that Taco Doritos are currently being manufactured:

Frito-Lay temporarily stopped making Taco Flavored Doritos sometime in 2020 to meet the demand for its products. We assume the company was concentrating on high in-demand products such as Nacho Cheese Doritos as they worked through the challenges of Covid. Keep in mind that Frito-Lay also makes several other popular snack foods like Lay’s, Cheetos, Fritos, Sun Chips, Cracker Jack, and more. These brands certainly factored into the overall product demands.

That all changed around November/December 2020 when Frito Lay brought back Taco Doritos:

At the time of this article, Taco Doritos were not readily available at all stores where we shop. For example, Kroger had them in stock but they were nowhere to be found at our local Target and Walmart. In other words, it might be a good idea to check with the store to see if they are in stock if you are going to the store solely for Taco Flavored Doritos.
